Ok, another blog (who came up with that dumb name?)

Anyway, I am here to "express" myself. Well, I am sorry but I am short a few pins (Office Space).

I recently swapped the camshaft out on my camaro. The first camshaft (the good one) got fucked up, likely because of a mis-adjusted lifter. What pisses me off about that is - I take so much care in putting together MY OWN ENGINE! I doubt I mal-adjusted it! Fuckers!

Anyway, I have a new camshaft. I bought a smaller (and more street friendly) camshaft because I could get it for $50 (not $180). Well, looking at Dyno2000 software, it is a better cam for what I use my car for. between 2000 and 6000 rpm, I have more than 375 ft-lbs of torque. That is better for 0-60 than the orignal cam. I am sad because the new cam does not have the "mean" idle that I loved, but it will beat imports on the street better.

That is another problem. Street racing. I love it, and I fear it so much. I have never done it, yet my whole passion behind the sport is to be the best at it (for cheap).

Here is a damn paradox for you - We hate life for its hardships, yet life becomes unbarebly dull without them! Damn.

Well, I find myself so unhappy so often, but there is something that always keeps me happy when nothing else does - My 400HP hotrod! (or, should I say, my 420ft-lb hotrod!). I am just happy sitting at a red light in my car. Nothing else brings me such peace.

What is the defenition of a "vice"? Alcohol and drugs are both "vices". What do they do for a person? They control a large portion of time from the user, and they make the user happy when they are using it. Well, with that said, my Camaro must be a vice of mine. It takes up a lot of my time (mentally - thinking about it, and physically - working on it). My car, with power to excess, is my sweet justice in this world.

I need to open a free-for-all park for motorsports. People would love to take their cars to a place where they could let loose on them. Both monster trucks and super cars. I would make my park very cheap. Almost non-profit. It would help keep racing off the streets, and let people do anthing they want for the thrill of fun in motor sports. I would just have to make some legal document to sign that would allow the use of the park without major lawsuits when somebody eventually kills themselves doing something stupid. This planet needs places like this.

This park would be like a ski resort. For both mudders and racers. It would, respectively, have beginner courses, intermediate, and advanced cources. It would allow beginners to approach the scene safely and work themselves up. It would allow unlimited testing/tuning for all motor sports. It would also provide for lots of sponsored competitions.

Also. My park would not prohibit (at least actively) drinking while driving. Something that seems like it would be so fun to me is Drinking and Driving. However, I am a logical person. Doing that would lead to my demise, either in prison, or is death. So, fuck that. That is too much risk. If I had a place that was somewhat safe to drive drunk (like in a mud truck in a swampy trail) I would do that every weekend of my life! (look on the bright side - a park like that would keep a lot of cronic drunk drivers off of the streets!).

When I as younger, I hated Nirvana. But, when the singer blew his head off, I started to enjoy the songs. Go figure. Too bad.
